ashley is sweet
even when ashley is sad
she likes plants and
has orange hair

there is no flower
has pretty has she
and sometimes i think
she might like me
living outside
and around my head
I never knew a flower
that could carry such dread
so I write these poems
that began to see her smile
so I can smile too
just for a while
